All women of our congregation are members of Presbyterian Women. Presbyterian women are a part of the larger organization Presbyterian Women Auxiliary which supports Bible study, advocates for peace and justice worldwide and sponsors mission work around the world.

Presbyterian Women organize several activities each year to support church, local and worldwide missions. In 2019, money was given to Janus, Good Samaritan Network, Noblesville Boys & Girls Club, Samaritan’s Purse, and scholarships for youth attending camp PYOCA.

Core Team meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. We are currently looking for members to join our Core Team to plan activities, enjoy fellowship, Bible study and support our church’s ministries through fundraising. Please call the church office, 317.773.2383 for more information or contact Ann Green, moderator at greeninsurance@comcast.net

Look for the white Christmas tree in fellowship hall to get information about our beginning of “Christmas in July”! starting of Christmas Shoebox ministry!
There is a list of suggestions on the tags on the tree. Take one or two and shop that week for your love gifts. There will be a collection box each week, or month, for your finds.
This can be a fun family project! Maybe decide to build one box for each of your adult children/ grandchildren. Set yourself a goal and then look out for store sales! We then will have our tree filled with wish cards for our future boxes and packing party in November!
July: We are asking for personal hygiene items (boy/girl ages 2-14) and clothing such as baseball hats, ribbons, hair clips, flip flops, underwear, socks etc.
Pray about what God leads you to do!

April & September mission fundraiser
Find some great deals at these huge sales! All proceeds go to fund local and global mission work sponsored by our Presbyterian Women.

Held worldwide each April since 1922 to raise money to support women’s missions related to education and surviving hardship.

Special time of fellowship for all women of the church. Mothers, daughters and neices bring desserts to share and are inspired by a unique and engaging guest speaker.

Held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Thank offering first occurred in 1888 as a day of prayer and thanksgiving. This offering is dedicated to helping hospitals and health services here and abroad, as well as to generate funds for future mission work projects.

On the Friday or Saturday which marks the beginning of Advent volunteers gather to decorate the whole church with trees, wreaths, lights and greens. A casual meal made by one our members follows all the hard work. Look for an announcement in the News/Notes and Sunday bulletin.

In December, the congregation sponsors needy families in Hamilton County to provide gifts and food gift cards. Family names are received from the Good Samaritan Network which is a collaborative/network of non-profits in Hamilton County working together to serve the needs of Hamilton County residents who are at-risk or under served.

Held in conjunction with the Red Geranium Artisan Market, the Bake Sale is always a big hit featuring homemade treats made and donated by members of the congregation. Get there early as items sell out very quickly and proceeds go to fund PW Mission projects!

Mothers-to-be in impoverished Malawi receive birth kits with items donated by our Presbyterian Women. Donations include trash bags, wash cloths, diapers, baby blankets, onesies, soap, and feminine hygiene products.

During the month of March, PW offers discounted car wash coupons for our local Crew Car Wash. Proceeds go to fund various mission projects sponsored by PW and FPC local mission work.

A special tree is decorated and set up in our parlor with wish lists from local families in need. Church goers can pick one of the requests from the tree and shop to donate much needed gifts making for a bright holiday for recipients.
